Wolfmother is back with a galactic new video.

The Australian band, led by vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale, has released the new video for single "Victorious," debuting here on Mashable. The campy visuals, directed by Brother Willis, feature a Barbarella-type heroine on another planet.

"The video is about a girl who’s held hostage by evil alien folk, but upon hearing the powers of Wolfmother’s smash hit rock ’n roll extravaganza, the heroine is set free from the dark forces of the universe," Stockdale tells Mashable. "It is with this knowledge that all forces are combined through the rite of Wolfmother riffmania. And we had a blast shooting it.”

The single will be released on the band's eponymous album, the entirety of which was written by by Stockdale, who also handled vocals, guitar and bass. He split drums with John Freese (formerly of Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle) and Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M.).

Wolfmother will go on tour to promote Victorious on Feb. 24, starting things off in Minneapolis. Victorious will hit shelves on Feb. 19.

Here's a look at the cover art for the album.
