If we know one thing about Nike and World Cups, it's that the sportswear behemoth can produce a sizzling hype video. The swoosh did it last year before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and a worthy successor for the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada just hit the web Monday.

The spot comes just in time for the U.S. women's national team's first match in its "Group of Death," kicking off against Australia at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Set to the classic Guess Who tune "American Woman," it features several of the national team's biggest names, including Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Christen Press and Abby Wambach. Clips of their training sessions are contrasted with footage of young girls practicing. (Never mind, for now, that "American Woman" is largely believed to have an anti-American message.)

The U.S. is among the favorites to win this year's tournament, but will have to navigate a stacked field featuring plenty of big-time stars.

Meanwhile, for a deeper look at what it takes to reach the Women's World Cup, this mini-doc about how Press reached the national team is worth a watch:
