WooMe's online network that can be used for virtual introductions ranging from speed dating to job interviews has just announced a $3 million bridge round, led by Mangrove and previous investors Atomico (which was founded by Nikas Zennstrom and Janus Friis), and Klaus Hommels. WooMe has also added the help of Oliver Jung to aid with the company's international expansion.

Ten weeks after launching its site, WooMe has seen a healthy amount of growth and is looking to cross the globe with its service. I first mentioned WooMe here, after getting a chance to take a sneak peek at the web service. I like WooMe's versatility in that its basic premise can easily be used for meeting people for just about any situation that can be conceived. It's networking tools are handy as well, as they allow for an easy way for users to create a cloud of metadata surrounding other users, which is in turn used for personal recommendations.
