On the face of it, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot that's romantic about Zynga's Scrabble-esque word game, but a poll of 118,000 players reveals that L-O-V-E is lurking behind the tiles. You may want to take these findings with a grain of salt or perhaps check out your paramour's list of WWF partners, but according to Zynga, the game is something of an aphrodisiac.

Some numbers: One out of 10 players polled say that WWF has directly led to a hookup. Another 47% say they are crushing on someone they're playing the game with right now. Meanwhile, "What's your handle?" could be the new "What's your number?" with 24% of respondents saying they've exchanged their WWF handle instead of a phone number. (For more, see the infographic below.)

Though these numbers seem extraordinarily high, there is some anecdotal evidence that WWF can foster l'amour. At least one couple met and tied the knot as a result of WWF. Someone else has used the game to convey a marriage proposal.

What about you? Have you met your significant other playing WWF? Take the poll below and let us know.
