Fridays are great. Fridays with free donuts are even greater. But they're definitely not healthier.

That sugary fried dough that is often topped with sprinkles and frosting might cost you a trip to the gym.

Using five popular choices from good ol' Dunkin Donuts, we've calculated just how long it'll take to burn the calories of that sucker off, thanks to personal training platform MyFitnessPal. Calorie expenditure is based on the weight of a 150-pound person.

Just remember to digest first.

1. Apple crumb-topped donut, 320 calories

This apple pie-esque donut stacks up at 320 calories. A 32-minute session on the elliptical trainer will cancel that treat out.

2. French cruller, 220 calories

Swimming at a moderate pace for 28 minutes will just about cancel out the calories of this twisted cake.

3. Chocolate-frosted donut, 270 calories

You'll be jogging at 5 mph (or 12 minutes per mile) for 30 minutes in order to burn off the 270 calories of this classic donut.

4. Boston Kreme donut, 300 calories

Feel the burn and climb the Stairmaster for 30 minutes in order to counteract the calories from this creamy treat.

5. Blueberry crumb cake donut, 380 calories
