The world's largest yacht has been commissioned by an anonymous billionaire. The 590-foot vessel will be called Azzam, which is Arabic for perseverance or determination. The builder, Lurssen, is not offering any further details of the commissioner, or the interior of the vessel.
The yacht is almost as large as a cruise ship, powered by water jets, and is capable of moving a time-and-half faster than an average cruise ship. It would cost an estimated $100,000 just to fill its fuel tank.
