When asked directly about his favorite gadget, without specifically namedropping the Nexus One, Woz nevertheless described the latest Google Experience phone. Speaking on the day after its release, he said: "Well, it's the latest one. It's a non-Apple product, but it's a gadget that just came out yesterday."
Wozniak later called NBC to clarify that he still also carries two iPhones as well. Still, it's a telling milestone in Android's climb to the ranks of top smartphone operating systems. Sales of the Nexus One specifically may not have been all that stellar to date, but the rise of Android in the ranks is definitely clear.
