The movie revolves around Wreck-It Ralph, an 8-bit game villain who gets bored with constantly being the bad guy and decides to switch to a modern 3D shooter. Unfortunately, he ends up wreaking havoc in the video-game universe by freeing a digital villain.

The movie also features actors Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch and Sarah Silverman and is directed by Rich Moore, a former animation director of The Simpsons and Futurama.

From what we can see in the trailer, the movie will be a treat for old-school gamers, as it feature numerous references to early games such as Donkey Kong and Pac-Man.
