Initiate the countdown: the U.S. military's secretive, unmanned air vehicle will fly once again.

The X-37B, after two successful test flights, will launch for its third mission aboard an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral sometime in October. The exact date is yet to be determined.

Like the first two missions, the specifics for this one are classified -- that's the "secret" part. What is known, though, is that the mission will be focused on testing the vehicle's capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
