A smart move for Microlost - from May 7th, XBox 360 users will be able to chat with users of Windows Live Messenger, all 260 million of them.
The network already has about 20 billion relationships, and the Xbox 360 Spring Update will add many, many more. There are about 6 million Xbox LIVE community members who currently send more than 2 million text and voice messages a day - hook that up to the network that us old timers still call "MSN Messenger" (ah, the joy of simple product names) and you have a powerful combo. Xbox LIVE users can chat with up to six people on Messenger while playing Xbox games, listening to music or watching movies.
