Xbox One owners can play 104 Xbox 360 titles on their consoles -- provided you actually own them, of course.

First announced at E3 2015, backward compatibility for select Xbox 360 comes to Xbox One on Thursday, Nov. 12, and the full list of supported games is now available. That list is going to grow over time, but you'll just have to make do for now with the initial lineup of 104 games.

There are some good ones in here. All four Gears of War games. The first Borderlands, the second Assassin's Creed and Fable, and Fallout 3 (which wasn't actually the third Fallout). There's stuff going all the way back to the Xbox 360 launch (Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero) and stuff that was new even after the Xbox One launched (South Park: The Stick of Truth).

The backward compatibility feature launches the same day that Microsoft starts pushing what it calls the "New Xbox One Experience" to all consoles. It's a major software update that completely reboots how the console's dashboard and many of its basic features work.

Microsoft's goal is to address feedback that's been leveled at the Xbox One user experience since it launched, just as it used to with the Xbox 360 (which saw it's own "NXE" in 2008).

The list of supported backward compatible games should start to grow as early as Dec. 2015. Microsoft's announcement mentions that more titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Skate 3 and all three BioShock games.

You can find the full list of supported games for this week below, and check out the full announcement over on Xbox Wire.
