The Xbox One will make its China debut on Sept. 23. It will be the first gaming console to be sold in the country in 14 years.

Microsoft's console will sell in China for ¥3,699 RMB, which is around $600, and games will be priced between ¥99 and ¥249.

The first games available in China will be Forza Motorsport 5, Powerstar Golf, Zoo Tycoon, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Kinect Sports Rivals. Players will also be about to purchase Halo: Master Chief Collection and Sunset Overdrive before the end of the year. Western and Chinese publishers have also pledged to add more content to the console.

Xbox One owners in China will also be able to access content from TV partner BesTV and Xbox Fitness workouts. The console will come with free Xbox Live Gold subscriptions that last until March 2015, a free copy of Powerstar Golf and Neverwinter Online and a two-year warranty. Microsoft also said all the menus for the console have been localized into Chinese.

China had closed off sales of game consoles in 2000, which meant gamers ended up favoring PC and mobile titles. The ban on game consoles was lifted last year. No other console makers have discussed bringing their consoles to China.
