Microsoft opened up about the Day One edition of the Xbox One in an unboxing video released on Thursday.
In the video, Xbox One spokesman Major Nelson took viewers on a tour of the Xbox One's console, controller, Kinect sensor, cables and -- a big surprise -- chat headset. Microsoft had previously stated the chat headset, priced at $24.99, would not be bundled in the system.
The Xbox One Day One edition includes a few extras, such as a commemorative controller with a chrome-plated D-pad and a sticker with a code to download Day One exclusives.
Nelson showed off the console itself as well, which sports HDMI-in and HDMI-out ports, three USB 3.0 ports, an ethernet port and IR ports for the Kinect sensor. The Xbox One also boasts an internal 500 GB hard drive and an 8-core x86 processor.
The unboxing video revealed that the system is 4K-capable and HDMI capable, but no games will have 4K capability at launch.
While Xbox One does not have a confirmed release date, the console alone will be available in November for $499.
