XillianTV is yet another video network that's been funded. We can't say too much about XillianTV because it's under pretty tight wraps. The undercover video service has gotten $800,000 in a seed round from Concept Ventures, and is still looking for more to throw in on its first round of funding.
Other video offerings to get funded recently include ad network podaddies and Loci Lemur's upcoming Video Twitter. For the rest of the industry in general, we're seeing a move towards live web content being distributed on Internet platforms and appealing to mainstream audiences, including Joost's new deals with the likes of TBS, ustream, JamNow, Xanga and WoozyFly.
