Xoom, the web-based service that lets you transfer money internationally, has raised another $20.29 million in a Series E round of funding, bringing the total amount raised by the company to over $50 million. This latest round was led by DAB Ventures, and repeat investors including Fidelity Ventures, New Enterprise Associates and Sequoia Capital participated in this round as well.

Tools for sending money and lending money have become rather popular this year, especially those that are gaining a global presence. Some of these other services include Kiva, and LendingClub. Revolution Money is another company that will be launching a money transfer service, and has also received a massive amount of funding that's equal to the total amount Xoom has raised over years.
