Yahoo Glue Launches In India: Visual Search Is This Week’s New Pink

Yahoo India has rolled out “Glue,” a test of a new search product that combines news, images, videos, and other content from around the Web (and other Yahoo properties) along with traditional search results that link to web pages. The coolest part I’ve found so far is the integration of Yahoo Answers – for example, search for “Magna Carta” and you’ll see questions like:

Any site where I can find magna carta for students?

What do the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights have in Common?

Magna Carta and absolute monarchs?

The rest of the integration – Flickr photos, YouTube videos, and news, is a bit passé, but nonetheless could be useful for certain subjects, and drive fr traffic to Yahoo properties.

This news comes on the heels of a couple startups we covered earlier this week launching similar products: Addict-o-matic and Surchur.
