Yahoo Messenger has added a few new features to its service with today's beta release of its latest version.
New tabbed instant messenger windows lets you have multiple conversations take place within one window, with each conversation appearing under its own tab. Individual tabs can be dragged out in order to make it into its own window, and dragged back in for space conservation. You also have the option to archive your instant messenger and chat room conversations on your computer. There's also more emoticons with this version, and they're all accessible for Mac users. Chat rooms are now available for Mac users as well, with the ability to join a room directly from the Yahoo Messenger for Mac 3.0.
The Yahoo Messenger has also been recently integrated into Yahoo Mail with its latest release.
