Yahoo's Musicmatch Jukebox is being closed down, and users have been informed of the required switch over to Yahoo Music Jukebox.
This switch format has been done in other areas of the Yahoo family, including Yahoo Photos (to Flickr) and Yahoo Bill Pay. The apparent cause for these switches was because of a lack of use for these services. This doesn't seem to be the case with Musicmatch Jukebox, but the switch is underway regardless. But the switch is being considered a downgrade, and users aren't happy about it. The Yahoo Music Unlimited Feedback forum reveals the true sentiment of the switched user base. Some users have even called for a class action lawsuit, and many have submitted complaints regarding some issues surrounding the actual functionality of Yahoo Music Jukebox.
