Yahoo has signed a production deal with Rocket Science Laboratories to provide content for Yahoo's video website.

Rocket Science Labs is the production company that creates popular reality television shows like Temptation Island and Joe Millionaire. The deal will reportedly lead to the creation of short videos with some level of viewer interaction. Rocket Science Labs may also offer its library of content for Yahoo viewers as well, showing programs that were previously broadcast on television.

With Yahoo's new determination to anty up its video offering, it's not surprising that it's looking to harness more partnerships with production companies. It already has deals with Embassy Row and Gotham Group, dealing with game shows and animation. It's good that Yahoo is making more deals with more media companies, and will continue to combine more of its networks for media dispersement and sharing tools. In related news, Worldwide Biggies, a production studio, has been funded by NBC and Hearst.
