A regular game of polo with horses would be far too dull for these citizens in the Broghil Valley of Pakistan.

Instead, these locals use yaks (yes, yaks) to play an annual game of yak polo and drum up tourism. "Due to the area's limited road access, tourists who come to the valley to see yak polo tournaments can provide locals with a valuable source of income," National Geographic explains in a press release.

And if that wasn't cool enough, the polo players actually give the yaks names based on their colors, like "Daffodil" or "Green."
