Yankees Spooked by Epic Thunder

The New York Yankees lost a home game to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night, but it wasn't the score that scared the players -- it was the weather.

The game, scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET, was delayed 45 minutes because of thunder shower warnings in the area. The two teams spent the majority of the four-hour game waiting through three rain delays.

During one of the showers, a giant crack of thunder made these baseball players jump out of their seats, take cover and hold on to each other for dear life.

Even Red Sox players were spooked.
