Yao Ming, one of the gentlest and most dignified giants in NBA history, remains a super cool dude after retiring early from the league in 2011 due to a plague of injuries.

The 7-foot-6 Chinese icon visited the Shanghai Rolex Masters tennis tournament this week and posed for photos with two of the game's biggest stars. The resulting shots are just as awesome as you'd assume them to be -- maybe even moreso.

Here's Yao standing next to 6-foot-1 Roger Federer. Fed's a pretty tall guy by normal standards, but Yao makes him look like a hobbit.

Novak Djokovic looks like a hobbit next to Yao, too.

I got to meet Yao Ming today. Very big guy ;) pic.twitter.com/rnCGm4Rp5k— Novak Djokovic (@DjokerNole) October 8, 2014

Hey, Internet: Can we please get Yao Ming Standing Next To Things Dot Tumblr Dot Com already or what? (Hold up, Google Search results are in: There's a whole subreddit devoted to this! Of course there is.)

Yao's photo with 5-foot-3 NBA legend Muggsy Bogues last October was amazing. But nothing beats the time he went to Africa and chilled with baby elephants. Here, eat your heart out.
