The historic Tadcaster Bridge in North Yorkshire collapsed into the River Wharfe on Tuesday evening, and supporters of the Tadcaster Albion AFC caught the moment on video.

The bridge had been closed since Saturday over fears of damage from floodwaters. Heavy rain and wind from Winter Storm Frank battered the region Tuesday night, exacerbating the existing wet conditions.

Troops evacuated residents after a gas leak and fears of further flooding.
