LONDON - Aunt Bessie is planning to make a wedding cake - but strictly as a one-off.
In celebration of National Yorkshire Pudding day on Sunday, food company Aunt Bessie's launched a competition offering one lucky couple a selection of their best battered goods for a very special occasion.
Engaged couple Adam Nicholson and Becca Piwinski were the winners, and they're planning to get married on a farm in July with the cake catered by Aunt Bessie’s.

The company's creation features a selection of Yorkshire pudding canapés and a gravy fountain among its battered tiers.

"We absolutely love Yorkshire puddings and I have tried numerous times to make my own and failed," Piwinski told the Yorkshire Post.
Her husband Nicholson added: ‘We are already so excited about our wedding day and now even more so as we’ll have this crazy wedding cake to show off to our guests."
Hopefully they are not too stuffed to enjoy the rest of the day.
