The underground feature is finally ready for primetime usage, which means members will now notice a new Facebook Connect call to action under the "Recent Activity" section of the homepage.

Facebook may be first, but YouTube has plans to integrate with other social sites. Given that you can already auto-share your videos to Twitter and Google Reader, it would seem logical that the next integrations will include those services.

While the update is a relatively minor addition to the YouTube experience, it's certainly one that makes sense. If your friends are more in the know, you'll be more likely to find out about the next hot meme.
