YouTube has created an iGoogle Gadget to go on your Google homepage.
The gadget enables you to search YouTube directly from the gadget, and watch YouTube videos as well. Sift through YouTube content based on what's been recently featured, popularity, most viewed, top rated, recently added, and most discussed. The gadget operates in a very similar manner to the google and YouTube video searches that can be placed on your Pageflakes and Netvibes front pages.
Surprisingly, the YouTube video player for iGoogle's Gadget does not have the new viewing and sharing features that we've been getting rather used to. So no scrolling thumbnails for related videos or immediate gratification for embed code with this iGoogle feature. Bummer.
