There's word that a Korean version of YouTube may be launching sometime soon.
Google is reportedly looking to release YouTube in South Korea later on this year. As we all know, the user-generated content market is thriving in South Korea, and this would be an ideal place for YouTube to go. The push to get a Korean YouTube out seems to be an aggressive move for Google, but an important one, nonetheless. This release would come on the heels of YouTube being launched in nine different countries, stressing its desire to have a global reach.
Another popular South Korean community, Cyworld, has recently launched a live chat feature.
