Singh, who has 7.4 million subscribers to her channel, is encouraging fans and fellow celebrities to compliment another woman using the hashtag. All revenue from the video will be donated to the Malala Fund, which supports educating girls around the world.

According to Singh, about 84% of her fanbase is female -- over 6 million women strong.

"I'm super grateful and humbled to say that because that's pretty awesome," she said in the video. "This holiday season I decided to use that reach and speak up against an issue I'd love to see go away and that's girl-on-girl hate ... the sad reality is that girl-on-girl hate is such a big issue in schools, at work or online. And it never made any sense to me because as women, we know how awesome other women can be."
