You're a good man, Troy Bolton.

When Zac Efron went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his upcoming feature Dirty Grandpa Thursday, Kimmel had a surprise video clip courtesy of Efron's high school drama teacher.

The clip features a high school-aged Zefron as Snoopy in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!. You can see even then that his heart's in the song: Beyond the distracting Snoopy ears, he puts on a good show, moonwalking across the stage and belting with the power of a Wildcat.

Efron graduated high school in 2006, the same year that High School Musical premiered his breakthrough performance. Dirty Grandpa, starring Efron and Robert De Niro, is in theaters now.
