Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest on Feb. 14 after four otherworldly dunks, the first of which referenced the film Space Jam.

LaVine came out wearing a number 23 "Toon Squad" jersey, the same worn by Michael Jordan when he defeated the Monstars with the help of Bugs Bunny. Better yet, he capitalized, slamming down a flawless dunk and grabbing a perfect 50 score.

Though it wasn't quite as impressive as Jordan's historic "insanely stretched arm from half court" dunk in the film, we think it should still be recognized.
