Soon, we will know what life sounds like post-One Direction.

Zayn Malik announced that "Pillowtalk," his first single after leaving the band, will be out January 29. He famously promised "#RealMusic" when he signed his solo deal, so the stakes are high.

Malik discussed the subject matter of the song in a new interview with The Sunday Times. “Everybody has sex and it’s something people want to hear about.”

Malik's also considering going back to school when the madness of his life dies down a little.

"And when my kids ask me, in the future, and I try to tell them to go to school they can't turn around to me and say to me: 'F*ck off, dad, you were in a band!'," Malik explained to The Times. "I can turn around and say 'Excuse me, I went back to school and have got my degree.'"

But until he enrolls officially, he plans to drop by a few lectures and sit in, so that's a good incentive to never skip class.
