2,601 People Made This Music Video

Crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and now crowd-crafting, a method that Ze Frank -- a musician, artist and online darling of weird and wacky experiments with the Internet -- frequently uses.

His online series "A Show" regularly takes user requests to build the starting point for each of the episodes, ranging from sex tips to the mundane topic of cholesterol levels. Only this time the stakes were raised: 2,601 contributors were included in the making of his newest conceptual piece.

Over the span of four months, Frank and his mixer Mr. Norman gathered submissions that included 786 people on percussion, 1,305 people mixing sounds into beats, 186 people using instruments and singing back up focus, 96 people singing and 247 people performing choreography. Everyone was provide with specific instructions on exactly how to record themselves to fit the song.
