Ziddio TV Show - We haven't heard much recently about Ziddio, Comcast's YouTube clone that runs online video-based contests. (In many ways, it's actually more like Bix.com, the contest site that was recently acquired by Yahoo.) Today it emerged that Comcast and Endemol, the reality TV company responsible for Big Brother, are planning to launch a TV show using the site. As part of a competition named "Ten Day Take", they'll ask users to submit ideas for TV programming. The best submission will be developed into a pilot episode with a $50,000 budget and a ten-day production schedule. If the pilot is a success, it'll be turned into a series. The contest isn't yet live on Ziddio, and we don't have any further details. And despite the fact that Ziddio was late to this game, the site isn't as lame as you'd expect.

MySpace Magazine - The rumored MySpace Magazine never came to fruition, but MySpace will be seen in print - the UK fashion magazine Marmalade is creating a print issue made up entirely of submissions from MySpace users. Through their MySpace page and a deal with MySpace Europe, they hope to find journalists, photographers, stylists and illustrators to contribute to their March issue. (via)
