The folks at Zoho just don't seem to get tired: they announce new features, products and services for their online office suite on an almost weekly basis, which is what we usually expect from Google. This time, they've launched a new version of Zoho Show, an online tool for creating presentations, which we can most easily describe as the online version of Microsoft's Powerpoint.

With this update, Zoho show sports a new user interface, over 50 default themes, support for shapes and symbols, support for editing text, images and bullets, clip art support, and integration with Zoho Meeting and Zoho chat. From what little testing I've done so far, the new Zoho Show works great and blows Google Presentation's socks off: it has got more features and options and a much slicker look. The ability to create templates through master styles, set detailed image properties, or use existing clip art brings Zoho Show much closer to Powerpoint than Google's presentations; however, one needs to have in mind that Powerpoint is still a much more powerful tool. For casual online presentation creation, though, Zoho Show will definitely suffice.
