Zubka - Zubka, a UK-based recruitment site, told us today they've raised first round funding from Benchmark Capital. It's a "multi-million pound" investment, they say (ie. $4M+).

dMarc - The founders of dMarc, the automated radio ad placement company bought by Google in January 2006, have left the big G, says PaidContent. The split is blamed on tension between the founders and Google.

Tacoda Funded - Behavioral ad network Tacoda has raised $7M in Series D funding from Rho Ventures, Hanseatic Americas, Masthead Venture Partners and Union Square Ventures. The company is going strong. (via)

Searchbots - We came across this "personified" social search engine earlier this year, and the creator pitched us on it this week. Your Searchbot goes out and searches the web for information you request, and the research projects aims to discover the effect of personifying searches. Fun.
