Zurfer is a mobile phone photo viewer that brings you Flickr photos based on your location.

The prototype for Zurfer was created from Yahoo's Research Berkeley, meaning it's not a certified Yahoo product. Zurfer gives you mobile access to your Flickr photos, and those of your friends. You can also insert some tag words in order to determine the kinds of photos you'd like to follow on your custom channels. You can do the same for Flickr group photos as well. Zurfer will also provide Flickr photos based on your location, providing contextual content directly from your surroundings. There is no web-based service to accompany the mobile offerings, so you'll need to have a mobile phone with a good data plan and a Flickr account in order to install Zurfer.

Similar services include HP's mscape, Everyscape, and to some extent, gatsb.
