Introduced in 2005, Flock incorporates Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn statuses via a sidebar and also boasts a link-sharing feature and a "Social Search" that displays what users' friends are saying about a specific query. Flock's team will now be integrated with Zynga's in San Francisco. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Our team will help Zynga in achieving their goal of building the most fun, social games available to anyone, anytime — on any platform," CEO Shawn Hardin wrote on the company's blog this week. According to that post, Flock has more than 10 million users worldwide.
