Despite creating a helluva controversy online, 13 Reasons Why debuted huge buzz in spring and quickly earned a second season order from Netflix.

Filming began on Monday, with the only indication being a few social media posts from the show's stars.

On Monday, Katherine Langford posted a photo of Hannah's boots to her Instagram story with the caption "Back in her shoes."

Langford played main character and narrator Hannah Baker in Season 1, but we know from the first moments of the pilot that Hannah died by suicide and that she won't be part of her peers' future. However, Hannah's legacy is undoubtedly a deep one, and her shocking death and the stories on her tapes will affect everyone who knew her.

That includes Tony, the wisest teen around, played by Christian Navarro.

Navarro didn't say anything about his scenes (duh), but since the rest of the cast was silent, we have to wonder if Hannah and Tony had a scene together.

13 Reasons Why Season 2 does not yet have a release date.
