26 of the craziest hot dogs you can buy during this year's baseball season
Baseball season is here and with it comes stadiums full of unique, caloric delights that are bound to encase your heart in a meaty shell of delicious fat.
Stadiums across the U.S. seem to be competing for top dog when it comes to the classic ballpark frank. Menu items range from churro dogs -- a churro wrapped in a doughnut and topped with ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce -- to corn dogs that are 18-dinches long.

According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC), which is indeed a real thing, "Baseball fans will consume more than 19.4 million hot dogs and over 4.3 million sausages during the 2016 Major League baseball season."
NHDSC president Eric Mittenthal gave Mashable a look into this year's hot dogs.
Below are 26 of the best and biggest of the bunch.
1. Canteen Dog (Citizens Bank Park, Coors Field, Fenway Park, Kauffman Stadium, Minute Maid Park and PNC Park)
A hot dog on a toasted bun topped with roasted vegetable mayonnaise, grain mustard, cabbage slaw and pickled jalapeños.
2. The Everything Dog (Turner Field)
A foot-long hot dog piled high with fries, chili, nacho chips, beer cheese, jalapeños, popcorn and a Coca-Cola infused barbecue sauce all served on a pretzel bun.
3. Sausage Sundae (Turner Field)
Smoked sausage with macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, pulled pork, barbecue sauce and a cherry tomato all in the shape of a sundae.
4. Dixie Dog (Turner Field)
Fried, foot-long beef dog that comes in at half a pound, topped with a mustard-based barbecue sauce, pulled pork, creamy slaw and pickles.
5. Cheeseburger Dog (Chase Field)
A hot dog made of chargrilled hamburgers that have been ground and chopped with smoked bacon, green onion and cheddar cheese. It's breaded, deep-fried and served on a hot dog bun with smoked bacon and secret sauce.
6. Arizona Dog (Chase Field)
This is a foot-long beef hot dog with chorizo sausage, nacho cheese and crunchy, colorful tortilla strips.
7. D-Bat Dog (Chase Field)
The D-Bat is an 18-inch long corn dog stuffed with cheddar cheese, bacon and jalapeños.
8. Crab Mac ‘N Cheese Dog (Oriole Park at Camden Yards)
A hot dog topped with macaroni and cheese, crab meat and Old Bay.
9. Cheese Coney (Great American Ball Park)
Hot dog smothered in famous Skyline chili with hints of cinnamon and chocolate, chopped onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
10. Slider Dog (Great American Ball Park)
A regular hot dog topped with macaroni and cheese, bacon and Fruit Loops.
11. The Thomenator (Progressive Field)
A homage to Jim Thorne with a 10-inch hot dog topped with diced onions, sauerkraut and three Pierogies.
12. Brat Pop (Comerica Park)
The Brat Pop is a bratwurst patty battered, fried and served on a stick.
13. Mac Daddy Dog (Comerica Park)
This is a frank topped with macaroni and cheese, bacon bites and scallions.
14. Champions Alley Dog (Kauffman Stadium)
A hot dog wrapped in bacon and tempura-battered on a pretzel bun with sweet slaw and chipotle ketchup.
15. Jamaican Jerk Sausage Sandwich (Kauffman Stadium)
This is a hot dog on a baguette with mango habañero salsa, green apple slaw and coconut chutney.
16. Hawaiian Dog (Dodger Stadium)
A quarter-pound beef hot dog topped with pineapple salsa, pineapple relish and teriyaki sauce on King's Hawaiian bread.
17. Shock Top Bratwurst (Dodger Stadium)
Grilled pork sausage infused with Shock Top beer, piled with caramelized onions and brown mustard, served in a grilled lobster roll.
18. Miami Mex Dog (Marlins Park)
Aot dog with chili con carne, Monterey Jack cheese, cilantro slaw and jalepeño-lime aioli served in a flour tortilla.

This is a hot dog, cheese sauce and fried jalapeños on a sausage roll.
20. Banh mi Brat (Miller Park)
This is a bratwurst, Asian slaw and cilantro lime mayo on a Banh mi bun.
21. Wicked Pig (Globe Life Park)
The wicked pig is pulled pork, Danish bacon, sausage, prosciutto, ham, pork rinds and coleslaw with barbecue sauce.
22. Flamin' Hot Cheetos Dog (Globe Life Park)
This spicy treat is a hot dog infused with nacho cheese and sprinkled with Flamin' Hot Cheetos on top.
23. Boomstick (Globe Life Park)
It's a one-pound hot dog -- large enough for three to four people -- topped with chili, sautéed onions and cheese.
24. Texas Taco Dog (Globe Life Park)
It's a hot dog, shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese and pico de gallo in a crispy taco shell.
25. Sweet Spot Cotton Candy Dog (Globe Life Park)
The Sweet Spot Cotton Dog is a hot dog served on a bun, infused with cotton candy sauce and garnished with actual cotton candy.
26. DMV Dog (Nationals Park)
The DMV Dog is a footlong frank topped with Maryland crab cheese and Virginia ham.
