The city that never sleeps is hella expensive.

If you can make it in New York City, you can make it anywhere.

Living in the Big Apple is truly an indescribable experience that only other New Yorkers understand. From the Manhattan to Queens and every noisy, garbage-lined street in between, NYC is a rich, cultural city like no other.

But for those who don't have the good fortune of making their dreams come true in the city that never sleeps, we've found a few tweets that very accurately sum up what living in NYC is truly like.

Good or bad, it's just something you have to experience it for yourself.

It's the concrete jungle where dreams are made of (if you can afford it.)

Finding and renting an apartment is hell on earth.

It's sort of like living in a zoo.

Public transportation in NYC is unlike anything you've ever experienced.

The weather is unpredictable, to say the least.

The streets are filled with ~art~.

Tourists. So. Many. Tourists.

It'll change you.

This pretty much sums it up.
