If you've ever had to deal with a young child, you'd know about how it can be a challenging task trying to teach them how to share.

But it does make for good -- albeit slightly cruel -- television.

Just look at this clip from British TV show The Secret Life of 4-Year-Olds, which has been getting shared around social media quite a bit. The show is set in a nursery, and five children have been given gifts which they all open on camera.

One of them, Skyla, has an extra bar of chocolate in her present. She's then hounded by the other children to share it, even though she clearly doesn't want to.

The tension is torturous.

Like all dramas, this tale takes quite the turn. A bigger boy comes barging in, taking a piece of chocolate, then runs away.

It all ends in tears, even though the boy comes to apologize, after he's done eating the chocolate. It's like Planet Earth, but children.

There were plenty of people on Twitter who were affected by the scene, pointing out that the stealing of chocolate is perhaps an allegory for privilege.

It's true. Kids certainly say the darnedest things.
