50 Cent tells court the money in his Instagram photos is fake
50 Cent has a simple explanation for all those brow-raising Instagram photos.
The rapper, who filed for bankruptcy last summer, was ordered to appear in bankruptcy court to explain recent Instagram photos that show him posing with huge sums of cash, the Associated Press writes. According to a court filing on Tuesday, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) says the money isn't real.
However, Judge Ann Nevins has ordered the rapper to appear in court on Wednesday, and the U.S. trustee's office is requesting to have an examiner review his assets.

Judge Nevins raised concerns about 50 Cent's flashy photos back in February.
“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,” Judge Nevins said at a hearing on Feb. 18, according to the Wall Street Journal. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”
Now 50 is assuaging those concerns by explaining that all the money in the photos isn't real.
So all this? Not real.
Also not real.
Props. There are just props.
Obviously.
