8bitdo's tiny, new Bluetooth video game controller is made for your keychain

This is the tiniest controller you've ever seen, no question.

Look at this adorable thing.

The Zero 2 is a newly announced Bluetooth controller that 8bitdo showed off for the first time at E3 2018. It's basically a Super Nintendo controller that's been shrunken down to a keychain-friendly size.

This looks like more of a novelty item or last-ditch alternative when all your other controllers are out of juice. My own hands cramp at the very sight of this thing. But I'm also an adult. I could see kids carting this thing around on their keys and actually using it.

The Zero 2 can be paired with a bunch of different gaming machines, including Nintendo's Switch, Android devices, Windows/Mac computers, and even SteamOS (if anyone is still using that ridiculous thing). The SNES-style design puts a limit on the number of games it can play. (Sorry, no Fortnite.) But for older games and retro-styled games, it's good to go.

There's no price yet, but the Zero 2 is coming before the end of 2018, sometime during the holiday season.
