Further cementing the fact that no one will ever let the '90s die, members of four of the decade's biggest boy bands have come together to make a new song -- right now, in 2016.

For their upcoming SyFy movie Dead 7-- written by Backstreet Boy and apparent TV-movie mastermind Nick Carter -- members from NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and O-Town teamed up for "In The End." And no, it's not a Linkin Park cover.

Instead, it's a country-pop anthem with a splash of post-apocalyptic dread, thanks to lyrics like "Don't look back/ Nothing's gonna save us in the end." BuzzFeed premiered the song, featuring Carter and his BSB brethren A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough; NSYNC alums Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick; 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons; and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada.

And if you think "In The End" is bizarre, wait until you hear the premise for Dead 7. SyFy describes it as a "boy band zombie western."

Here's the plot, according to the network. "The gonzo tale follows Jack (Carter), a self-styled Man With No Name who teams up with a motley crew of renegades (including Fatone, Dorough, 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada) to take down Apocalypta (MADtv's Debra Wilson), a villainess who, along with her right-hand man Johnny Vermillion (McLean), uses the undead to wreck havoc on a small town."

Dead 7 premieres on SyFy on Friday.
