Star Wars is full of shocking revelations, but the latest reveal to rock the franchise is comfortably the most earth-trembling of all: Adam Driver apparently doesn't know what the word "emo" means.

It started on Wednesday evening, when Rolling Stone published a feature about The Last Jedi which included interviews with the cast.

Here's the exact moment in the interview where the bombshell gets dropped:

People were shook.

Twitter was in frank disbelief.

Soon, the big questions were being asked.

Others speculated that Driver may have seen some of the memes -- and parody Twitter accounts -- floating around the internet.

Ultimately, though, many fans seemed to be here for it.
