Adam Levine had the most enviable birthday celebration of all time
Adam Levine turned 37 on Friday and celebrated in the best way we could ever imagine spending our birthdays (or any day): eating cake alone in bed.
The singer posted a picture to Instagram on Saturday of his half-eaten cake (what restraint this man has), urging fans to also fill their special days with quiet contemplation.

"I sat in bed all day with the shades drawn eating this cake completely alone," Levine wrote in the photo's caption. "It might have been the best birthday I've ever had. I took time to reflect on so much and had a moment to genuinely appreciate the life that I have and the incredible people I have in it."
So incredible, it seems, he choose to spend the day without them.
Here's hoping Adam's next career move is penning a book on party planning.
