Adele invited her doppelgänger onstage for the selfie of a lifetime

Adele checks Twitter before her concerts. Good to know.

If you bear even the slightest resemblance to your favorite celebrity, get the word out -- it could get you a selfie.

Emily Bansworth had only been at Adele's Tuesday concert in Birmingham for a few minutes when other concertgoers began to mistake her for the singer.

In fact, she was getting so much attention that her fiancé Tom tweeted about the experience.

And not only did Adele see the tweet, she loved it. So she brought Bansworth on stage for a delightful doppelganger selfie.

Tom got one, too. Kind of.

Adele may not be allowed to send her own tweets, but we're betting Bansworth is glad she keeps tabs on the ol' timeline anyway.
