Adele set to headline Glastonbury Festival

'And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you're more f*cking boring for moaning about me headlining,' she said.

Adele is headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival, and she doesn't care if you think she's too boring for the job. 

NME reports that Adele made the announcement onstage at London's O2 Arena Friday night, saying, "I wanted to do it last year but my record wasn't ready. And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you're more fucking boring for moaning about me headlining."

The U.K. festival confirmed the news on Twitter shortly after, saying she'll headline Saturday night. 

The festival, which takes place in Pilton, England, runs from June 22 to 26. Muse will headline Friday night, while Coldplay will headline Sunday. The full lineup has not yet been announced.
