Sorry, Adele fans, the singer says she has no desire to be part of the Super Bowl halftime show.

The revelation came during the singer's concert on Saturday night in Los Angeles. She said she had been asked to be part of the entertainment for the upcoming Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas, in February 2017.

"Well, come on, that show is not really about music and I can't dance," the singer said, as fans in attendance voiced their displeasure with her decision.

She continued, joking, "They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no. Maybe next time for my next album because I’m going to do a dance album."

The story came up as she also denied reports that she was pregnant.

Rumors of the singer's involvement in the game got an extra boost last week when British tabloid The Sun published a report that Adele was on-board for the event.

How Adele's powerful, emotional ballads would go over as a 15-minute made-for-TV spectacle would be interesting, but it seems we'll never know.
