Saints' Twitter finally settles it once and for all: Is Adrian Peterson 'AP' or 'AD'?

Peterson has been among the NFL's best running backs for the better part of a decade now. If you walked into any sports bar in America during that time, you'd stand a reasonable chance of hearing a football fan refer to Peterson simply as "AP" -- those are, after all, his initials. But he's also been known by another, less used nickname: All day.
"All day," of course, simplifies to "AD," which sounds a lot like "AP." You can only imagine the chaos and confusion this has caused among NFL fans for the past several years.
So when the Saints posted that photo of "AD" in New Orleans gear, the team got a bunch of replies like this.

But the Saints themselves stepped in with an official ruling to calm the madness.

And there you have it, folks. Case closed, class dismissed. He's "AD."
